With rare and informative photos, both in color and black and white, this book depicts the C&O in West Virginia. The photos, maps and drawings give insight into the operations of the line and capture the special glory of an era that has largely disappeared. With descriptive captions, the book illustrates the engines, depots, terrain, tipples, routes, and history of the railroad that helped shape our state.
